Hey there, I’m Sasha. Founder & Chartered Paraplanner
Although I entered financial services over 16 years ago, I fell in love with paraplanning back in 2019 and has been my passion ever since. I have attained the Fellow of the PFS (FPFS) back in 2020 and was privileged to recently win the Professional Adviser magazine ‘Paraplanner of the Year’ for 2022.
Having experience both as an in-house and outsourced paraplanner, I wanted to create a professional paraplanning service which encompasses three important values – time, collaboration and freedom. It was these values that led me to create The Paraplan Project.
When I am not geeking out on financial planning, I love to spend time delivering education workshops to students as an Education Champion for the PFS. I also love walking my two miniature dachshunds, Ned & Sid (who will likely appear in the odd zoom call or two!)

Where it all began
2006: Falling into finance
It was back in 2006 when I embarked on my journey into the world of finance – a far cry from my original ambition of being a Vet. Initially working in the banking sector, I shortly upped sticks from Wiltshire to London to join a large platform company in 2008.
2019: The year that changed everything
Until this point I felt that there was something missing. I always yearned for a career which could provide me with the technical complexity whilst feeling like I could make a real difference to people’s lives (cheesy I know!) It was then that I thankfully moved into paraplanning and I have been loving every moment since.
2020 & 2021: Growth and success
Having the continuous desire to grow as a technical paraplanner, I achieved the Fellow of the PFS (FPFS) designation at the end of 2020. In addition, I also had the pleasure of being appointed a member of the PFS Paraplanner Panel.
2022: The Paraplan Project
I had a vision to provide a professional paraplanning service to financial planners which encompasses three important values – time, collaboration and freedom. It was these three values which led to The Paraplan Project being founded in September 2022. And as they say … the rest is history!
